¼ scale Miles Hawk Speed Six

Built by Pete Siggins of TMLMFG from a plan by Phil Kent
Modeled on the Old Warden Shuttleworth,  UK
Example.

Engine, Laser 150 4 stroke
Scale 25% Wingspan  86” (2,184mm )
 with split flaps.
All up weight 24lbs with 4½ lbs of lead added to nose for balance
Build traditional with Balsa and Ply.

Radio JR PCM
Finished with Cherbourg Express 1oz glass cloth
Sprayed with satin finish cellulose.

Sprung undercarriage complements Ian Pottinger of TMLMFG.

So far only test flights completed but flew well,
some bounce on first landing, needs a bit more practice
but shows every sign of being an enjoyable model to fly.
